CELESTE (RE-DESIGN)

Here's a re-design from another one of my favorite games, Celeste. I decided to go with a portion of the final battle with Badeline, since it seemed like a good challenge.
INSIDE (RE-DESIGN)

This is my re-design of my favorite level from one of my favorite games, Playdead's Inside. This clip required a great deal of consideration for atmosphere and conveying a sense of mystery, so it was an interesting challenge for me!
X-STORY (RE-DESIGN)

I re-designed all sound for this clip from the Vitaliy Shushko animated short "X-STORY," which gave me ample opportunity for more grounded (but creative) sound design.
TOPOLOGIE LANYARD SHOWCASE

For my first paid job as a sound designer, I created all sound for this short animation showcasing a phone lanyard created by Topologie! This served as a particularly rewarding project, as I was able to trade ideas back and forth with my client and change up my sounds based on what they wanted.
ROAD X

I worked on Episodes 4 and 8 of the story-based podcast series "Road X," during which I provided all sound design, editing, mixing, arranging, dialogue cleanup, and even a bit of voice acting. I followed the provided script to make sure each sound and line of dialogue was spaced out properly to most effectively tell the story. (LANGUAGE WARNING just in case.)
UNTITLED SEORO OH ANIMATION (RE-DESIGN)

I re-designed the sound for this very short animation by Seoro Oh, who created "Afternoon Class." This video provided me with plenty of opportunities for abstract, creative sound design.
AFTERNOON CLASS (RE-DESIGN)

For my final post-production project at Vancouver Film School, I chose this short animated film in which a young man struggles to stay awake during an afternoon class. I designed, recorded, edited, and mixed all of the sound effects, dialogue, and music. I also performed the foley and even supplied the voice for the main character. This short provided me with plenty of creative sound design opportunities, for which I received consistently high praise from peers, instructors, and industry professionals.
ROBO RAPTURE (RE-DESIGN)
Player/Enemy SFX & Voice Designer, Wwise Implementer, Mixer
For my game project at Vancouver Film School, I worked on the existing VFS game Robo Rapture. Working with a classmate, I provided the sound effects and voices for the player and enemy characters, and also implemented and mixed the material in Wwise. I enjoyed not only the worldbuilding I was able to do for the game, but the technical implementation as well.
SPACESHIP 2071 SAMPLE PACK

For a final project at Slam Academy, I designed a sample pack of 25 composite sounds revolving around a sci-fi theme. All of these sounds were created entirely from scratch and arranged by me; my work received a glowing response from my instructor. The sounds have amassed thousands of downloads in total from Freesound.com, and some have been used in numerous podcasts and YouTube videos. GARGOYLES' REVENGE
Car/Collision SFX Designer, Editor
For this assignment at Vancouver Film School, I arranged and edited all of the car and collision sounds for this action scene from the film Gargoyles' Revenge. My work was received very positively by my instructor.
HOSHRUBA WORLD
Podcast Editor, Mixer, Mastering Engineer
I delivered work for WBT Productions' Hoshruba World, a fantasy- and story-based podcast. I edited, arranged, mixed, and mastered hundreds of supplied audio files to provide the listener with an immersive experience.
